ORIENTAL STYLE DISHES

LUMPIA

2 whole chicken breast

1/2 C chicken broth

1 lg chopped onion

2 Cloves garlic, crushed

2 carrots, slivered

3C bean sprouts

1 PKG baby pea pods slivered

1/2 Head cabbage slivered

1 TBSP each SOY SAUCE, CHINESE 5 SPICE

2 tsp pepper

3/4 tsp ground ginger

50 egg roll wrappers

cover chicken with water boil till it is easily shredded. saute chicken, garlic, and onion till onion is tender. add vegetables, 1/2c broth spices and seam till vegetables are tender. set aside. wrap mixture in egg roll wrappers, deep fry till golden brown, place on paper towels to drain.

 makes 50 3 POINTS EACH

3.75 lb SLICED STEW MEAT

2 pkg DURKEE SWISS STEAK SEASONING

2 cans CANNED TOMATO

2 cans WATER CHESTNUTS 0

1 cup CHOPPED CELERY

bundle GREEN ONION

3 PEPPERS(RED or GREEN)

1/4 tsp GROUND GINGER

1/4 cup SOY SAUCE

2 tsp GARLIC POWDER

1 C. WATER

 put everything in a pot. cover, place in 350 degree oven for 2 hours. keep warm till ready to serve. serve over white rice.

 makes 20 cups 2 POINTS EACH

1 ONION CUBED

2 CARROTS cut up

1 SWEET & SOUR SEAS. PACKET
